Otherwise, go nuts.ĪFAIK there still aren't Reefback, Mesmer. and a couple other kinds of eggs in-game yet they exist but don't spawn naturally. I just wanted to be able to place the stalkers where I wanted for enamel farming, and to be able to replace them if they wander off or get eaten by a rogue Sandshark or poisoned by a Gasopod.ĪFAIK there still aren't Reefback, Mesmer. I really only consume my Crashfish and Reginalds. Depending on how fast you, uh, "consume" the stalkers. At that rate it's easier to just find eggs lying around at night. Though if you put 4 stalkers in a single Alien Containment I think you're only going to get 1 more out of it you'll need to stack another one on top if you want more than that. Can stalkers breed if there is 4 of them?Įverything can breed with at least 2, including jellyrays. Can stalkers breed if there is 4 of them? Well, now I have 5 stalkers, somehow. Thanks, at the moment I'm building more places for the large aquariums as I want 1 species in each tank, have you ever seen jellyray breed though as I have 1 and can go looking for another egg of a jellyray. When I remove one, they breed back up to 5, but no further. At least, that's where my Stalkers and Crashfish have stopped breeding. Each module is good for up to 10 critters, but anything that lays an egg (possibly spadefish excepted) counts as 2, so you can have only 5 per unit. Note that, as far as I can tell, large egg-laying creatures now take up double capacity in an Alien Containment. Can stalkers breed if there is 4 of them? I try to breed one species per tank at a time where possible.
#Jelly ray subnautica eggs free
If you have two different species in the containment, for some reason it seems likely that you will get all new "babies" from one species and zero from the other, at least until you free some space and let them try again. Since little fish don't lay eggs (spadefish excepted), they tend to breed faster. The more breeding pairs of things you have, the faster stuff will breed.
#Jelly ray subnautica eggs full
Up to a full day or longer before they even lay an egg, and possibly as long after that for it to hatch. Originally posted by or0b0ur0s:Especially with large egg-laying creatures, it takes a while.
